"Deliver those who are being taken away to death, and those who are staggering to slaughter, O hold them back!
If you say, 'See, we did not know this'
Does He not consider it who weighs the hearts? And does He not know it who keeps your soul?
And will He not render to man according to his work?" |

Every morning: from 1942 until his death in 1945, ADOLF HITLER is given daily intravenous injections of methamphetamine by his personal physician, THEODOR MORELL, as a treatment for depression and fatigue. It is possible that the Parkinsons-like symptoms which HITLER increasingly developed from 1940 onwards were related to his use of this drug. The drug was widely distributed across rank and division, from elite forces to tank crews and aircraft personnel. Chocolates dosed with methamphetamine were known as Fliegerschokolade ('flyer's chocolate') when given to pilots, or Panzerschokolade ('tanker's chocolate') when distributed to tank crews. [Modern street names of Methamphetamine include: – Blade, batu, chimichanga, cristy, critter, crystal, crystal meth, dope, devil's dandruff, glass, hanyak, hiropon, ice, jib, kaksonjae, krank, P, pony, quartz, rock, shabu, shards, stove top, tina, tik, tweak, ventana, vidrio. It is often made from legal ingredients which include drain cleaner]. |

Undersecretary of State Luther! Foreign Office Berlin W 8 Wilhemstr. 74/76 Dear Fellow Party Member [Parteigenosse] Luther! Enclosed I am sending you the minutes of the proceedings that took place on January 20,1942. Since the basic position regarding the practical execution of the final solution of the Jewish question has fortunately been established by now, and since there is a full agreement on the part of all agencies involved. I would like to ask you at the request of the Reich Marshal to make one of your specialist officials available for the necessary discussion of details in connection with the completion of the draft that shows the organizational, technical and material prerequisites bearing on the actual starting point of the projected solutions. I want to schedule the first discussion along these lines for 10:30 a.m. on March 6, 1942 at 116 Kurfürstenstrasse, Berlin. I therefore ask you that for this purpose your specialist official contact my functionary in charge there, SS-Obersturmbannführer Eichmann. Heil Hitler! "that Palestine be established as a Jewish Commonwealth",
being a radical departure from the world Zionist focus of practically building the Jewish National Home in Palestine. The change of direction is largely a reaction to the British White Paper of 1939 which would limit Jewish immigration to Palestine resulting in Jews always being a minority.
This Biltmore Program ultimately results in the right-wing Revisionist Zionists rejoining the movement.
The declaration reads –

Dissenting voices such as HENRIETTA SZOLD and JUDAH LEON MAGNES reject the Jewish exclusivity of the decision and break away to establish their own party, Ichud (Unification), that advocates an Arab-Jewish Federation in Palestine.
Opposition to this Biltmore Program of Jewish nationalism also leads to the founding of the anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism (an organization of American Jews committed to the proposition that Jews are not a nationality but a religious group, adhering to the original stated principles of Reform Judaism articulated by its 1885 Pittsburgh Platform). |
