Naming  the  Messiah
The   Divinely   Appointed   Name   of   the   Messiah
Less  than  this  is  blasphemy
"She will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, FOR He will save His people from their sins"
Matthew 1:21.
The choice of this name for the Messiah of God is highly significant and
so it was quickly attacked in the subsequent history of the Jewish Pharisees,
which produced the Talmud, to remove from the name any reference to salvation
by substituting Ye-shua in the place of Yehoshua in Hebrew and misrepresenting the Greek form Jesus.
This
Satanic
corruption
of His name
continues today.
To Joseph: "An angel
of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying..."
"Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
She will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."
and these inspired words were recorded in detail for our understanding because it has a serious significance which deserves to be properly understood,
yet sadly it is often not understood.
At the
Modern Hebrew is
not Biblical Hebrew.
Modern Hebrew is based on
medieval Mishnaic Hebrew
time of the birth of Jesus, most Jews lived scattered across the Roman Empire within which the dominant language was Hellenistic Greek (koine/common Greek, not the Greek of Greece). Accordingly, the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures most commonly used in the Jewish synagogues became the Jewish Septuagint translation, which had been sponsored by the Greek Pharaoh of Egypt for his library in Alexandria with the cooperation of the Jewish High Priest in Jerusalem. The Septuagint's Roman numeral acronym LXX refers to the legendary seventy top Jewish scholars who solely translated the Five Books of Moses into Koine Greek for him as early as the 3rd century BC/BCE, that is more than two hundred years before Jesus was born.
Sadly the Judaised
'Tree of Life'
English 'translation'
perpetuates this
Satanic deception
In that Jewish translation, the name Yehôshûa‛ (Joshua as we know it in English), was translated as Ἰησοῦς, which is Jesus in English.
Thus, in English, "JESUS" is the authentic name of God's Messiah!

So, accordingly, God giving a specially chosen name for Him had great significance.
Which Satan hates!
Those who spiritually lead the Christian community have no excuse for not knowing the above and protecting their people from the rampant deception that is being spread,
particularly in the Judaising of Christianity under the myth of restoring its Jewish authenticity.
We have a very sophisticated enemy who knows he cannot stop Christianity because the Holy Spirit was given –
so his activity is mostly geared to twisting and misrepresenting it. So, please be on-guard!

Common 'Christian' Fallacies
Christ and Messiah
both mean the same
'Anointed'
Christ
from the Greek
Messiah
from the Hebrew
"so then, the Law [10 Commandments, etc.] was our [Israel's] guardian until Christ/Messiah came,
in order that we might be justified by faith.
But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian
[the Law],
for in Messiah/Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ/Messiah.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female,
for you are all one in Christ Jesus
[no distinction in Christ].
And if you are Christ's, then you [Gentiles] are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."
