CHARACTER ABERRATIONS AND WARTS ON THE FACE OF CHRISTIANITY

They earned public attention with their slogan of "God Hates Fags" concerning their approach to homosexuality, and their website even went a little further with – "God Hates America".

When I queried their approach by referring them to the Gospel of John chapter three, which reads –
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him."

(John 3:16-17).
Calvinism's Corruptions
they responded to me by claiming that the Bible's word 'world' meant 'Christians' and only Christians; that is, Christ died for the elect; an old heresy invented by Augustine and replicated by Calvin and those infected by his theology.
An
honest approach to Holy Scripture, which appears outside the scope of their perspective, will show immediately that this New Testament term 'kosmos' (κόσμος), translated as 'world' above, is used by John in the same Gospel to refer to those who did not believe in Jesus and therefore could not receive His Spirit (Jn.14:17), and so were certainly not Christians.
Any
association with this group is a blasphemy of the character of Christ and an address for the delivery of the inevitable judgment of God.

Classified
as a Hate Group by the nonprofit civil-rights organisation Southern Poverty Law Center, 'Dove World' (perhaps indicative of their cranial capacity) has earned public attention by its blatant public hostility to Islam, extending even to the public burning of the Qur'an.

Spiritually,
the rights and wrongs done in the name of Islam are not the issue. The Bible gives us an eloquent example in the Apostle Paul's inspired statement concerning the pre-Christian Greeks worship of their god Zeus in quoting the words of their pagan poet Aratus (“Phaenom.” v.5), and in Cleanthus' hymn to Zeus –
"Yet He is actually not far from each one of us, for 'In Him we live and move and have our being';
as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we are indeed His offspring'."

(Acts 17:27-28).
See:
'Christian' Fallacies
If this was then said of Zeus, every Christian should take serious note that the New Testament term for 'theos' (θεός) translated as 'God' in English is translated as 'Allah' in all Christian translations of the New Testament in Arabic. There is no other word for God in Arabic. So, if the Apostle Paul had any right to say as he said, it behoves every Christian everywhere to treated with respect that which encourages submission to Allah as does the Qur'an (Koran in American).
See:
Islâm & God
Yet, Dove World chooses to publicly burn the Qur'an, in total disregard of the effect of this behaviour upon the lives of Christians in Islamic countries. This callous self-righteous disregard is to be more than repudiated by others. Every person associated in any way with this kind of behaviour is to be socially disassociated from all personal Christian association in terms of the Bible's clear teaching in Romans 16:17; 1 Timothy 6:20; and 2 Timothy 2:16; 3:5.
Any
association with this group is a blasphemy of the character of Christ and an address for the delivery of the inevitable judgment of God.
Let God's Word rule in our hearts and conduct!
